We have a helpful map to help you with arrival and dismissal due to construction on Bearle. 1st Day of School: There is limited parking available in the parking lot that can be accessed from Raymond. Starting the 2nd day of school, parking lot is only for staff, buses, daycare, construction crew, and parents who are registering new students. We will continue to update you as construction progresses and changes.

#1 Bus, Daycare, and Special Need Students: Students will be loaded by staff. Special needs students’ dismissal names tags need to be displayed in window.

#2 Parent Zone Pick Up Line: CLOSED due to construction

#3 Thomas Street Walkers: Students exit the back of the building and are escorted by staff along the sidewalk to the crossing guard at Thomas Street. Students can walk alone or meet up with siblings to walk together. Tell the teacher - walks alone or walks with siblings. Parents meeting children, must stand across the street from the school close to the crossing guard.

#4 Car Rider Circle: Dismissal name tags are displayed in car window-Students will be called to exit the building and meet you in the circle at a cone.

#5 Norman Street Walkers: Students exit the side of the building and are escorted by staff to the crossing guard at Norman Street. Tell the teacher- walks alone or walks with siblings. Parents meeting children, must stand across the street from the school close to the crossing guard.

#6 Red Bluff/Camille Walkers: Students exit the building and are escorted by staff to the crossing guard at Camille and Red Bluff.  Tell the teacher- walks alone or walks with siblings.  Parents meeting children, must stand across the street at the corner of the crossing area. 

Missing your dismissal name tag?

*Go to the office

*Must show I.D. and be over 18 years old

*Name must be listed on white card as authorized to pick up children

*Staff will bring children to office area to meet you

Severe Weather Days for Walkers and Bike Riders

*Walkers will be held at school and parents will be contacted to pick up children or give permission for children to walk home once dangerous conditions clear.

 Registration                 

Required documents to bring:

Child's social security card

Parent or guardian's identification card

A current lease, rental agreement, deed, mortgage payment booklet; and,

A current utility bill (water, gas, electric, land-line phone); and,

A record of immunizations showing that the child has current immunizations

Birth certificate (original or certified copy) is required for Prekindergarten, Kindergarten, and all new PISD students under 11 years of age

If you are going to register a Pre-K student, you must bring proof of income. It needs to be two paychecks between June and August. If you have SNAP or TANF you can bring that as well as long at the students name is listed as receiving benefits for food.


Requested but not required documents:

Birth certificate (original or certified copy)

Withdrawal record or report card from previous school

Any legal documents (adoption order, divorce decree, CPS orders etc.)
